About Sarah
Star Struck Tutoring aims to make students know content and feel comfortable with content. Passing a test or finishing an assignment is important. But understanding and even enjoying subject matter makes students want to continue their education. I aim to create life-long learners. My hope is that students will carry their eagerness to learn beyond a test, beyond an assignment, and seek out new subjects to learn.
I graduated with a B.S. in general education from Johnson University in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2005. I completed my post graduate work at JU the next year and received my M.A. in Holistic Education in 2007. I have worked in Kindergarten classrooms to middle school classrooms to adult education programs. I have taught in both public and private schools. My vast experience has taught me to find exactly what each student needs and guide lessons to accommodate them.
