About Andrew
I have been tutoring professionally for 2+ years on multiple platforms in courses including but not limited to General Chemistry 1, Introductory Statistics, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus 1. I also have a background in formal STEM education through the FSU Teach program as well as years of informal practice through independently tutoring peers. I graduated from FSU with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and minors in Physics and Computer Science.
I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible, therefore I'm welcome to any and all resources or suggestions that students or parents can provide. I graduated from FSU with a degree in Economics as well as minors in Physics and Computer Science. I decided to take the time to learn all of these disparate subjects because I simply enjoy getting to understand this crazy little world we live in. The only thing I enjoy more than learning something new is being able to provide that experience for somebody else. I struggled to enjoy school most of my life due to the rigid structure and boredom from always being forced to cover the same topics. Being able to open a student's eyes to how incredibly diverse and interesting subjects like physics or chemistry can be is what I live for. I was fortunate to have incredible teachers that eventually opened my eyes to the wonders of the world, and I hope to be even a fraction of that to somebody else.
