About Anna
Hi! My name is Anna Rack, and I am currently a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I am working towards my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. I am also part of the Honors College and Accelerated Scholars program pursuing a Master's in Material Science and Engineering. Given my chosen academic track, it is no wonder my favorite subjects are math and science (especially chemistry)! I love these specifically because if you think about it, everything in the world can be broken down into math or chemistry (or both)! I strongly believe that learning should be fun and interesting, and hope to be able to help students find a passion for what they are studying. I also believe that practice makes perfect, so my method of teaching is heavily based on example problems and lots of practice questions. I also stress deep understanding, since memorization may help you on an exam, but not much later on. If you truly understand the subject you are working with, you can do anything an exam or career throws at you. And finally, I look forward to working with you!
