About Miriam
I am new to this website but have been an Education Coach with over twenty years of experience guiding students to academic success. I hold a Master of Science degree, a Master-NLP Practitioner Certificate, and a Teaching License. My teaching methodology is patient, thorough, and effective.

After spending seven years at home taking care of my children, I learned the importance of providing focused and intentional care for young children. I decided to pursue a career in teaching and applied for a Teacher Alternative Preparatory Program using my degrees in Biochemistry (BSc) and Food Science and Technology (MSc). In addition to obtaining my teaching license, I continually studied to earn endorsements in Reading, Mathematics, Science, English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Teacher Support and Coaching. Throughout my teaching career, I have successfully mentored new teachers and led various departments and projects within the school.
I hold a Standard Teaching Certificate/License issued by the Professional Services Commission in the State of Georgia. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a Master of Science degree in Food Science & Technology.
In addition to my degrees, I possess several endorsements including ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages), Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Teacher Support and Coaching. I am also a Certified Master NLP Practitioner with a Coaching Endorsement.

Once we have determined your needs, we will share a plan of instruction based on your school curriculum and/or the Common Core Standards. We aim to accelerate your success by bridging all learning gaps and advancing your skills to the next level.
