About Ira
I have a great passion for sharing my knowledge of mathematics. I have studied many different areas of the discipline, from sets and logic to linear algebra.
Sharing my knowledge of math is as exciting as learning it. From helping my younger siblings with math homework to the tutoring I did in high school, it is very rewarding to see other people have those “aha” moments, and to see them as fascinated as I am. Moreover, teaching helps me to deepen my own understanding of the concepts.
I got started in high school, when my Spanish teacher asked me to tutor an eighth grader.
I have tutored several students, ranging from middle school to college, and have a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Pomona College.
