About Amy
I'm new to this website but not tutoring entirely. I'm a rising junior at Stanford majoring in statistics and education, so the material is fresh in my mind. I'm just looking to offer my service at a reasonable cost and help some students along the way!
I love working with students. Their "aha" moment and visible gain in confidence makes the job worth in.
I'm also an education major, so I've consistently tutored throughout my life.
I'm a rising junior at Stanford University studying statistics and education. I'm flexible to tutor all math up until college-level linear algebra.

Generally, I'm inclined to ask the student what they're working on in class, review the classroom material, create similar problems, and work through practice problems with the student.
I've worked with all different types of students – from those preparing for upcoming exams, needing extra practice, or just lost in class.
Find a teacher who is willing to accommodate your pace and genuinely listen to you.
Over the past few weeks, I've volunteered to tutor low-income, minority middle-schoolers in my area. It's wonderful to see them reach their "aha" and gain confidence in their math abilities.
