About Alisa
I am a dedicated math tutor, and I lead my students to become the best in math. I have been teaching different levels of math for over 2 years, starting from elementary math to pre-calculus. For each of my students, I find an individual way of learning, whether it is visual or listening. I am proud to say that all of my students have seen a great improvement in their scores after my services.
One of my friends once asked me to help them with her math homework, and from there on I started helping students with topics they had trouble with. Later I decided to start working as a tutor since I have discovered my passion for teaching.
I have completed training for tutoring, and I received a lot of experience by tutoring and teaching in my high school.

First, I access the student's abilities and then I build a plan according to their preferences and level of knowledge.
I have had students ages 7-16, and I have also worked with a couple of kids with conditions such as ADHD, etc.

The student should think thoroughly about what they want to take out of the lesson. Whether it helps with homework or getting ahead in the class, or resolving the problems with the current topics.

Usually, I charge 20 $ an hour, during which I help my students complete any homework, do an intro into the future topics they will have and do a small test to check their understanding of the material.
