About Megan
Howdy!
I am a high school math teacher in my 3rd year of teaching. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a BS in Middle Grades Math and Science Education. I have tutored for Algebra 1 & 2 and geometry, taught Algebra 1 for 2 years, and will be teaching Algebra 2 this year. I have been tutoring off and on for 2 years now and have prior experience working in summer camps and as a nanny.
I really strive to meet my student where they are and figure out their unique roadblocks to overcome. In my teaching I look at the whole student and enjoy creating a genuine connection with those I am working with. I hope we can work together!

When I meet with a new student, I typically will start by having them work through a typical math assignment from their class. I will offer guidance but try to see what level they are at. From there I may be able to find additional exercises for the student to work up any weaker areas.
