About Jaylen
Hello! My name is Jaylen Jones. I've been a math tutor for just about 2 years now. I work primarily with high school and college students. I am dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential in mathematics. I specialize in making complex math concepts accessible and engaging. Whether you're struggling with basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, or advanced calculus, I provide personalized and patient tutoring to cater to your unique learning style. My goal is not only to boost your understanding of mathematical concepts but also to instill confidence and foster a love for the subject. When I was in high school, I joined a math club where we would often tutor students who came in for help. I helped many students, and tutoring became something that I was very passionate about. When I started college, I got hired by the math center as a tutor and have been helping students ever since.
I am currently getting my associate's degree in mathematics at Napa Valley College. I've also had two tutoring jobs where I was trained on how to work with students and cater to their needs. I've had a lot of experience tutoring and am able to help a variety of students.

Jaylen helped me get through my Calculus I class freshman year of college. I was struggling to understand the concepts in the class and I found the work to be very difficult. Jaylen broke down the concepts for me in a way that was easy for me to understand. We had 3 1-hour long sessions a week where he would teach me the concepts and explain the homework problems to me. Jaylen was very professional and knowledgeable. I went from a 62% in the class to a 93%. I would defiantly recommend him as a math tutor.
