About Sang
Byakkokan Dojo, founded in 2005, is a distinguished Japanese swordsmanship school located in New York, NY and its surrounding areas. It is one of few schools offering three types of practice: Kata for learning basics and styles, Tameshigiri for testing those basics through cutting straw targets, and Gekken for practicing free form techniques. Beyond physical skills, Byakkokan Dojo also teaches about Japanese culture and manners. Their students are well-equipped to participate in international tournaments, extending their network within the realm of Japanese swordsmanship.
