About Olivia
I am a certified LSAT instructor through the website VarsityTutors looking to work independently. I scored a 171 on my LSAT, the 98% percentile. I am a dedicated tutor, with years of tutoring experience. My ability to constructively communicate and socially engage with students sets me a part from other LSAT instructors, as I am able to simplify the larger LSAT concepts into easily digestible lessons.
I enjoy interacting with students and being able to pay forward the incredible tutoring I received while studying for the LSAT. For me, receiving personal tutoring after months of individual studying was the "click" I needed to raise my score by over 15 points. The tutoring was the make or break factor in determining my LSAT score and I love getting to help other students achieve their full LSAT potential as well.
I started teaching after taking the LSAT because I had connected with the test on a level I hadn't experienced before with other standardized tests. I only made this connection after receiving tutoring myself and thought I could help others in the way I could be helped. My LSAT instructor was great, but sometimes struggled to communicate concepts in a digestible way, since he had a debate and philosophy background that helped him immensely. I thought I could use my less specialized background to communicate concepts in a way that was accessible to more people.
I have certification as a peer tutor through my college, I recieved over 100 hours of training as a Breakthrough Collaborative Teaching Assistant, I am a certified TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language, 120+ training hours) instructor, and have 2 years private experience as an LSAT instructor.

Details
My standard pricing is about 45$ dollars per hour. This includes all lesson materials and I will also give you additional practice exams and study guides to use outside of class. You can purchase however many hours you want at once.
