About Daisy-Mae
I’m Daisy and I’m an incoming medical student at the University of Leeds.
I have been tutoring for 2 years throughout college supporting year 12 and 13 students with biology and chemistry. This summer, I have also helped year 11 students transition from GCSE to A-Level, so have experience tutoring multiple age groups.
I have achieved excellent grades at GCSE and A-Level, achieving A*A*A Biology, Chemistry and Maths in 2026.

- I like to use the first 5 minutes in a lesson to gauge the student's understanding of a topic, identify their weaknesses areas and tailor the lesson specific to them.
-My teaching approach is based on ensuring the student understands concepts and not just memorisation, as I believe this will create a solid foundation for the student when it comes to exam questions.
- I tutored face-to-face for 2 years within college supporting students in biology and chemistry.
