About Sameer
I have a solid understanding (and degree) in the field of American and World History from 1914-present. This encompasses the first World War, the Roaring Twenties, The Great Depression, World War Two, the Cold War(and all the other events during said time period), and the "modern era". I have been tutoring folks in History since I started high school.
I truly enjoy teaching History, because I feel with the right teacher the subject is more than just a recitation of old facts, but instead a way to gain an understanding of how exactly the world got to be the way it is and how it may develop going forwards.
I've tutored folks since I was in highschool, as long as I have a better understanding of the material then I am able and willing to help others reach my level.
I hold a Minor in History with a specialization in the Cold War World History. I specialized in History for 4 years before changing my degree path.

Getting a feel for how much the student understands the subject in the first place, adjusting their mistakes or false understandings, and then working with them on new material in a manner that best suits the student
Highschool and college students.
Think about what exactly it is you need help with, and go over whatever you know up-to your current point. A good tutor/teacher will help you not only learn the material, but understand it.
I recently participated in helping a friend write the framework of a historical fiction nocel, set in Ancient Rome, circa 30 B.C. While this time period is not exactly my forte, I still know quite abit about it and establishing the main characters and conflicts and etc. was quite fun.
