About Jeffrey
I feel I am a very patient teacher, I will tailor the lesson to fit your goals and make those goals reachable.
I enjoy making music everyday and being able to make a living creating and teaching music is a dream come true for me. I love watching my students grow and become more confident in their abilities.
I began teaching guitar in a middle school after-school program several years before my formal music education. This was my first experience teaching and it taught me a lot and has informed my progression up to this point.
I hold a B.A. in Music and an M.A. in Guitar Pedagogy. I studied classical guitar throughout my college education while also performing jazz, gospel, rock, and r&b in and outside of college. I have been performing for over 17 years and teaching for 10.

I like to spend the first lesson getting to know the student and giving some very basic instruction depending on their current level. We will also use that time to talk about goals and how to practice towards netting them.
I have worked with students of all ages, genders, and backgrounds.
