About Nicholas
Nick Vasquez received his B.A. in Music Theory and composition from St. Ambrose University in 2008. Since then he has been performing on piano professionally with multiple groups around the Midwest. Having a strong passion for music education, he joined the team at The River Music Experience in Davenport, Ia to teach the community's youth both private lessons and programs on the travel of American roots music up the Mississippi River. After 7 years of being based in the Quad Cities he has relocated to Des Moines and has began teaching private lessons on piano and guitar in all styles with a heavy emphasis on improvisation, theory, ear training and over all musicianship.
