I got started teaching first as a hobby helping friends before devoting more time for it in a professional setting.
I have a BA in Mathematics with a minor in philosophy. I've worked as a math tutor at the community college level. I'm also a self-taught musician.

My typical process for working with a new student involves getting to know what experience they have, what they would like to focus on to improve, how much time they would like to dedicate--as well as offering feedback or research options going forward after the lesson.
I have worked with students of all types and skill levels.
