About Kevin
I've been playing music for almost 15 years. I can teach you how to improvise with a band, write music, and all the fundamentals you need to cover any song you want! Former touring musician in ska punk band! I know guitar, bass, drums, banjo, trombone, piano, trumpet and some saxiphone!
Very affordable $15/hr! (concealed information)
I've been playing music for almost 15 yrs and I realized that I love showing my friends how music works; so they understand the components of any song, so they can learn and experiment for themselves and then we can play together!
Been teaching lessons for 6 months mostly to friends or friends of friends. Also an education officer at House of Commons Coop!

Start with description of a scale, getting to know the shapes, then how to make chords from notes in the scale, and the functions of different chords in a piece of music.
Depending on what you want to focus on we can go onto learning songs, or improvisation, different styles, etc.
Friends and acquaintences :)
Learning some theory can go such a long way towards putting all the pieces together and making music make sense so you can learn effectively, even on your own!
I traded Bass Guitar lessons for lessons on figure drawing and faces and it's a awesome new hobby/obsession!
