Starting from a young interest in guitar hero, after several years studying with Marshall I was placed with the award winning Crescent Super Band and was able to visit areas across the US playing with them. Now I'm in college studying guitar and on my way to a career in music. I also learned how to record and produce my own music studying with Marshall.

Marshall is a dedicated instructor who absolutely gets results! Finding a guitar instructor who is professional is hard. Finding one that clicks with students and motivates them to greatness is nearly impossible. Marshall does both!

I have had lessons for about six weeks and am well pleased. Marshall is patient and a good teacher. He is easy to talk to and is a good listener.

Marshal is an incredible teacher. While Marshal is very knowledgeable and an amazing guitarist, it is his kindness, positive attitude and his belief in my son and his guitar students that draws us to him. We really like the method in which he uses to teach, he has a curriculum that he has developed that builds upon itself and while challenging at times pushes our son to excel. Our son has learned far more than just how to play songs, he has learned how to teach himself songs using the tools and theory that Marshall has taught him. He has helped Easton with setting goals and consistency with his practice. Marshall takes an interest in his students and wants to see them succeed, in other music programs, school bands and on a personal level. We highly recommend Marshall as a guitar teacher.

Marshall is so patient and his love of music is so strong that I found myself improving without really being aware of it! He works really well with my son. Really a wholesome experience set to the music you want to learn.

Marshall is very passionate about music and teaching. He is extremely invested in the success of his students. He cares about his students' progression and expects them to take responsibility to move forward in theory and technique through dedicated practice. He takes time to communicate with parents regularly outside of lesson time, in order to pinpoint areas for student improvement and also to identify opportunities to showcase their talent. I sincerely appreciate that he continued to care about my son's future career in music, even years after formal instruction together had ended.

Marshall has a great knowledge of music theory which enables students to reach their potential rather than just learning a few songs here and there. He also has performance experience and equipment knowledge to help his students get the right gear for their needs and prepare them for what ever path they choose with music.
