With over 100+ years combined teaching experience, The Chuck Will Golf Academy offers comprehensive learning programs for all skill levels, from novice to low handicapper. Chuck Will is a Quarter Century member of the PGA of America as well as a Certified PGA Professional in Teaching & Coaching. He has been recognized as one of America's Top 50 Golf Instructors by Golf Range Magazine, Golf Range Association of America and U.S. Kids Golf . Chuck was also selected as a Golf Digest "Best Teachers in Your State" and Top 100 Club Fitting Professional. He specializes in the body-swing connection, combined with computerized video swing analysis. Clubfittings uitlize video analysis, launch monitor data and manufacturers fitting systems and proprietary fitting software.

Teaching Philosophy

Chuck feels that all golfers given the right combination of swing fundamentals for them are capable of significant improvement regardless of age, skill level or physical limitations. He uses a combination of computerized video swing analysis, a golf assessment and flexibility screening and club path analyzer data to gather the necessary information required to determine the swing type best suited for that individual. By finding the golfer’s best “Swing Type” he can then make the appropriate changes for success without totally overhauling their old swing. As a result, golfers can see immediate improvement by adjusting their old swing and minimizing their errors. Students also will get a greater understanding of what their own “tendencies” or “poor swing habits” are and how to correct as well as avoid them.

Chuck uses “Swing View Pro” computer assisted software combined with teaching aids and practice drills, to help the student learn the new swing changes. He also feels strongly that the “On Range Indoor to Outdoor Video Studio” affords the best way to show the student the cause and effect a particular swing flaw can have on the overall golf swing and outcome of the shot. He also has an extensive digital library of PGA Tour Professionals that are used for comparison and to demonstrate the fundamental “common denominators” of all world class players.

His use of on course playing lessons, physical conditioning as well as the mental aspects of the game balances out his instructional program and allows students to reach a new level of success and greatly achieve their full potential.

Began studying the golf swing as a junior player.  I worked for good teachers and players during my years as and Assistant PGA Professional.  Have been teaching since 1977 and full time since 1996.

What to expect during your first private golf lesson in the On-Range Video Studio: 

Complete Student Profile Form to get background information on you and the status of your game.

Warm up, then hit a series of shots with a mid-iron (6 or 7 iron) which are recorded from both front and down the line cameras.

Critique your swing with the instructor using the Swing View Pro golf training software to determine a swing baseline to start. It is important to understand corrections that need to be made as well as what to leave alone.

Begin making corrections and understanding how they will affect the swing and ball flight.

Use drills and training aids to reinforce changes

Receive a student CD with swings, notes and practice assignments to review between lessons.

Lessons are scheduled approximately 2 weeks apart to give you ample time to work on the swing change.

We stress that all students are able to assess their ball flight and know in their own swing what corrections or adjustments need to be made.

Lessons may be purchased individually or in series of 3, 5 or 10 blocks.
