About Scott
Lessons are held in private indoor to outdoor hitting bays. Granting much need shade during the hot summer days. A fully private short game area and putting green can be used. Allowing students to practice approach shots into Tour quality greens at up to 100 yards.
Golf is hard. Getting to see the face of a person who just hit a golf ball like never before is what it's all about. Overcoming the seemingly impossible.
Ever since I was born I was surrounded by teachers. I am a 3rd generation of teacher in my family. Both of my parents were school teachers. After the bell rang, my father was also a track coach. He ended up in the National Coaches Hall of Fame. I knew teaching was in my blood, but wanted to merge it with one of my biggest passions. So I decided to teach Golf! I apprenticed with Jeremy Anderson and soon found myself on staff at the NBC Golf Academy at Legacy Golf Resort.

Each student begins with a New Student Assessment where I get to know you and your golf swing. I want to know about your golf experience and goals for the future. From there we will take some video analysis and talk about what we want to work on going forward.
I've worked with students of all age ranges. From 5 year old to 85 year olds. Males and Females.

The overall program was very effective in improving our game. Scott covered every aspect in a thorough and supportive manner. I would definitely recommend Scott for anyone (all levels) who wants to advance their game and have fun.
What I liked best about the Golf Academy was working with Scott. His calming manner of instruction improved my game substantially. His knowledge of the golf swing and his ability to pass that along is what makes him a great instructor. I highly recommend lessons from Scott.
