I like to get to know the student. How long have they been playing golf? What other sports do they play, any other hobbies or interests?
I try to find out if the student has any prior injuries or chronic pain, this way we can make a detailed plan on how to get them to learn the new movements without any pain or discomfort.
Most importantly I like to make the lessons fun and educational for the student.
Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced players from 5 year olds to 70 + years in age.
Try to find an instructor or teacher that has some of the same values and interests that you may have. Also look for someone who has a good work ethic and who puts their students first.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How much work am I willing to put in to learn or to become better?
Does this teacher have a good reputation among their students and or peers?
How much time am I willing to set aside for lessons?
