About Aaron
My love and passion for golf started when I was 13 years old after frequent injuries in baseball forced me to look to a better horizon. I discovered this beautiful game that challenges not only our physical limits but also the limits of our character. It is my passion and love for this game that challenges me to be better each and every day and it is my great hope to share that with everyone in my life.
"Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated. It satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and and maddening and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented."
-Arnold Palmer
I enjoy the challenge and comradery that this sport brings. I enjoy working with golfers of al skill levels. It doesn't matter if you're a scratch golfer or just starting out. We all have ways that we can improve. Witnessing those improvements and breaking through our limits is one of the surest forms of joy in life.
I've taught various age ranges and skill levels throughout my golf career, mostly as a casual endeavour. Now I'd like to pass my knowledge and experience along to individuals in the greater Houston area looking to improve as well.

I started playing golf when I was 13 years old. My first attempt at the "professional" realm of golf occurred at my 8th grade tryout for the middle school golf team. I had only been playing for a year or less at the time, but I was confident I would make the team. Two topped balls later my hopes were all but dashed. I didn't make the team. My confidence waivering for a brief moment was followed by a necessity to improve. Fast forward to high school: within a year and a half, I was a 12 handicap consistently shooting in the mid 80s. I made the high school team with ease and my life as a golfer had begun. By the end of 9th grade, I had won my first tournament, placed in the top 5 in numerous others, and was awarded the most improved golfer award by my high school team. Over the summers in high school, I enrolled and participated in tournaments provided by the Houston Golf Association (HGA), American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), and Texas Junior Golf Tour (TJGT). Additionally, I participated with my high school team in district, regional, and state qualifying tournaments. We won district 2 years in a row and proceeded onto the regional tournament with one top 5 finish.
After high school in 2011, I attended Texas A&M University and continued my golf game on the side, focusing on my career as a Geologist. In 2015, I graduated from Texas A&M University and am currently working as an Environmental Geologist in Katy, Texas. Today, I continue playing in Texas Golf Association tournaments, constantly improving my game, and it is an incredibly valuable asset to have in my career as well.

Every decision we make in golf affects the outcome. Even before you address the ball, your thought process is affecting your ability either positively or negatively. "Golf is a game that is played on a 5 inch course; the distance between your ears." - Bobby Jones
Furthermore, everyone's swing, mechanics, and physical abilities are also different. It is my initial objective to analyze the physical and mental abilities that he/she currently possesses. From there, we can start setting goals and working toward lasting improvements.
Ages 12 through 60 with handicaps ranging from 0 to 30.
Find someone that you respect and that respects you. I truly believe that a teacher is someone that grows along side their students and as such, they should be as flexible and open minded as their students. As teachers, we're here to put you first and help in any way we can. So find someone that recognizes your potential and maximizes your ability.
