About Gabrielle
I have 5 years of experience at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
In addition to a one-year class credit position as a student mentor I also had various jobs at UMB while I was a student including: Tutor/TA for the DSP summer program, Tutor for the ESL department, Tutor in English, Psychology, Women Studies, and Sociology for the SSS department, and Tutor in writing skills for Buisness and Managment students.
I have helped countless students achieve their academic goals in college level classes. I've helped failing students pass and I've helped B students finally get those A's.

My best subjects: English, Critical Reading and Writing, Psychology, Sociology, and any writing issues that may come up in different classes i.e. Helping students to be more concise for a lab report or helping them expand an essay for a Women Studies course etc.
I pride myself on being able to work with students in order to figure out which approaches work best for them specifically. I never settle into one technique and expect it to work for all students, and I always listen to my students and do my best to work with their specific needs.
I have experience working with ESL students.
I have also worked with many students with variuous different learning differences and needs.
