About Jennifer
I am an highly qualified and experienced Math teacher and tutor for high school mathematics. Trained and qualified in the UK, my specialities include all mathematical fields, including algebra, geometry, and statistics. With over 10 years teaching and tutoring experience, my professional work largely centers on clear, down to earth 'Math speak', making the subject accessible to all. We discuss the big ideas of mathematics which adds depth and interest to the subject, and my students enjoy this relatable, dialogical, Socratic approach to learning.
I have a BA(hons) with qualified teaching status in Mathematics and Pedagogy and 13 years experience. I also recently completed an MA in Multicultural and Internatinal education. I have experience in the UK system and the Internatinal Baccalaureate, working for 9 years with students all over the world. My current position is in curriculum development and mathematics for the UWC movement.
