About Meg
My tutoring style stands out because I care about sharing an upbeat connection with the student. The way I accentuate the positive helps the student identify their strengths. I share excitement about learning and progress with the student. Having as much fun as we can while we learn together is a priority.
I really enjoy working in a learning environment. I am grateful to be able to boost self confidence while improving academic skills.
When a school across the street from where I worked at and environmental magazine needed a creative writing teacher.
I currently guide a monthly writing class for NextVillageSF.org
I have taught middle school creative writing, I previously tutored in language arts. I have also tutored middle school student and high schoolers in their home setting.

I have worked with students who needed extra help after school in a community houseing project. I have taught in small private schools in Colorado leading creative writing classes, and with younger learners in a small primary classroom.
