About Hanna
I have been a licensed first grade teacher for four years and after starting a family decided I would like to go a different route! I love working with beginning readers, readers in progress, or even starting fresh with new students just beginning to learn! Working with first graders, I have a lot of experience with introduction of early phonics, reading strategies, and fluency. I love to meet students where they are at and build from there! I think it is crucial to have students find a love for learning and reading at an early age as it will give them an advantage all throughout their schooling experience and into adult life. I cannot wait to help your little one find their passion of reading!
I graduated with a BS in Early Education from the University of Portland and have been working as a first grade teacher for the past four years.
