About Adam
Effective writing is crucial for success in academia and in the professional world. Writing can be so simple, yet many students are unsure where to begin. I believe in breaking down the writing process using tried-and-true techniques that will guarantee your message gets across in the desired manner. It is also important to understand the different styles of writing: business, creative, academic, blogging, etc., and how the use of different techniques and considerations will serve your message depending on your audience.
A soon-to-be graduate of the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, I look forward to applying my knowledge and skills to help you in your academic endeavors. Not too long ago, I was a high school student going through the college admissions process myself and I completely empathize with the stress and uncertainty you may be experiencing. Whether you need help writing that perfect college admissions essay or you want to learn interview skills so you can excel at in-person or virtual interviews with college admissions personell or potential employers, I would love to work with you.
Even if you have a completed essay or piece of writing that you would like proof-read, I will happily assist in that area as well. I have an eagle's eye for grammar, spelling, and syntax errors, and I realize the importance of ensuring your writing is error-free. The last thing you want is for English errors to obscure your great ideas!
I am a member of the National Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success (USC Chapter), and made the Dean's List at the USC Marshall School of Business for 2018.
Additionally, I am a professional actor and possess extensive knowledge on effective speaking and confidence building, both for professional and personal purposes. Many of my classes at USC have focused on communication strategies for business and I am eager to apply the concepts I have learned to suit your needs.
I have flexible availability and am open to discussing a schedule that works for both of us. I look forward to meeting you and working together!

I have always had a passion for teaching, as I find that there is no better way to master a skill set than by teaching it. I have enjoyed writing stories since I was very young, and discovered that I had a talent for it. In high school and college, I began helping my friends with writing assigments, both creatively and academically, and realized I wanted to continue branching out and helping others with their writing. I enjoy teaching because I always admired teachers who could take a complicated subject and break it down into concrete and simple parts, which is what I strive to do with my students.
I am a soon-to-be graduate of the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, where I have taken many courses in business and academic writing, professional speaking, and collaborative project work.
In high school, I participated in a program called Reading Partners in which I tutored students in reading English who did not use English as their first language. I found it to be a very rewarding experience.
Additionally, I have substantial internship experience in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, and am very familiar with the job application and interview process. In 2019, I led the casting for 3 student films at USC that ended up as Student Academy Award finalists, recognized by the Oscars.

I like to start out by getting a sense of my student's personality. Writing and speaking are so personal and each student has his or her unique voice. Next, I like to get an idea of my student's goals and what he or she wants to accomplish. Having a clear purpose is essential to successful writing and speaking. From there, we'll look at what kind of audience he or she will write or speak to, and create a plan to structure the communication appropriately.
I have worked with elementary, junior high, high school, and fellow college students.

Adam is a very prolific writer himself and truly helped strengthen my writing skills! I am so grateful for his help with my essay writing, I feel more confident in my writing then ever before!
Adam is personable, hands-on, and fosters a great learning environment to learn and develop creative writing skills. I remember specifically being impressed by his wide range of vocabulary and mastery of grammar skills, especially for someone at a relatively young age. You will definitely want his keen editorial eye and creative input before you turn in any assignment.
Adam was very personal and thorough with his tutoring. As someone who struggles with academics in school, Adam helped me tap into both my left-brain and my right-brain skills to complete my assignments. I love how prepared he was before we began our tutoring session, as he already knew my name and some of the learning issues I was struggling with. Thanks for being a great tutor, Adam!
