I have a Masters Degree in Public Health but my education has helped me develop my writing skills. I have written countless essays and personal statements for friends and family and now I want to help you too!
I give personalized attention to each student and provide responses in a timely manner. I am available on evenings and weekends for those of you who are busy during the day.

I love being able to help people solve problems. If I can't help initially, I enjoy the challenge of finding answers and then sharing that information with the students I work with.
I am excited to work with students of different backgrounds and age groups!
I have previously taught a writing group for American Indian youth for children of all ages. I used this group to help students enhance their communication skills and written expression. In my present job, I offer educational development training to pharmacists.

My first lesson with a student is spending the first 15 minutes getting to know who my student is. I want to make sure my students are comfortable with me and can ask me questions.
I will spend then ask the student to take a learning styles survey developed by educationplanner.org so I know how I can work with the student I can teach. I will ask my student what are they looking for out of each session and what are their biggest concerns regarding their subject. If the student has come with prepared questions, I will work with the student to complete homework or an essay. If they do not, I will try to finish the remainder of the session giving them tools where I think they can find valuable learning opportunities.
