About Jessika
I am an elementary school teacher working virtually for Dekalb County. I teach 3rd, 4th,and 5th grade special education this school year, I have been teaching for 4 years and I am currently obtaining my master's degee at the University of North Dakota online. While obtaining my bachelors degree I subsequently tutored a middle schooler who was diagnosed with dyslexia in mathematics, science, social studies, and reading and a 4th grader in mathematics.
I have always loved teaching and helping others academically. From the time I was in first grade I knew I wanted to be a teacher and then as I got older I realized my passion was more geared towards Special Education work due to my brother having autism.
I graduated from Kennesaw State Univerity with a bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Reading Endorsement. I am currently attend the University of North Dakota for my master's program in special education.

I enjoy getting to know a students passions and interests so that I can incorporate them into the learning process. I also try to learn their foundational weaknesses in order to strengthen their area of needs.
I have tutored a variety of students that range from general education students, students learning English, and students with disabilities. I have experience in grades Pre-K through 5th grade.
