About Krista
I am an ESL teacher with 11+ years of experience teaching English in Seoul, South Korea. I have returned to the US, but I still wish to work with motivated adults and professionals who are driven to improve and maintain their English proficiency.
I truly enjoy watching and hearing students reach their communication goals, feel more confident in their English ability, and be better prepared for a global business environment.
I moved to South Korea in 2008, where I started out teaching English to children. Then, an opportunity arose to join a company that focused on teaching professional adults, and I acquired years of experience and proficiency building those skills.
I worked in Seoul for more than 10 years, and 7 of those years were in 1:1 classes with adult professionals, assisting them with interview prep, business English, and overall refinement of their English skills.

I ask a series of questions to get a better idea of the student's English proficiency and areas where improvement is desired. Then, we work together to identify their goals for each lesson.
