About Rita
I have been teaching written and oral communications for over 20 years. I am not only trained as a communications coach, I am also skilled at customizing my approach to meet the needs of each individual client. As a result, my clients have dramatically improved their communications and interpersonal skills quickly and more effectively than they coould have done on their own.
I started as a graduate assistant at Indiana University, taught as an adjunct professor at Manhattanville College, and then moved into teaching and coaching business professionals and students at all levels.

About the lesson

Three-month program with 45-minute sessions scheduled once per week.
Online only, using Zoom or Skype
First session: Set the client's desired goals
Each session includes information, questions, practice and an assignment to be completed by the following session.
Assessment of results, successes and areas for improvement throughout the program.
Final Sessoin: Evaluation and next steps
I have a specialization in working with foreign-born students who are interested in improving their written and spoken English as well as improving their reading skills.
Look for two sets of criteria:
1. Does the teacher have the required skills and experience?
2. Do you connect well with the teacher? Is this someone who you feel has your interests at heart and cares about helping you achieve your goals?
If you answer Yes to both quesitons, you have found a teacher who is a good fit for you.
