About Yasmine
I am dedicated to boosting my students' confidence and skills in English and Mathematics.
I attend the University of California, Berkeley. I have tutored since my sophomore year of High School in English and Humanities.
I have been a tutor for 4 years, and I am currently a student at UC Berkeley. My high school Humanities professor introduced me to the opportunity of tutoring her younger students, and I took on this role very gladly and with great pride. This was typically essay revision, and I then pursued paid extracurricular tutoring with students from other schools.

I start with an assessment of their current standing on the topic- if this is English, I lead various writing excersies to determine their strengths and weaknesses. I use a similar process for Mathematics; students are usually more aware of their own standing in Math from their class tests.
