About Carol
I am a highly qualified, certified English Language Arts teacher. My experience includes eight years teaching in Florida public schools at the middle school level. Every year I was given either a Highly Effective or Effective score based on my instruction and student tests results. I can provide assistance for every level of English education and have much experience with tailoring my lessons to individual students' needs. I am also patient, calm and have a friendly demeanor that the vast majority of my past students responded to.
I love seeing the look on a student's face when they master a concept they have struggled with previously.
I always wanted to be a teacher and have greatly enjoyed my time in the classroom! Due to the Coronavirus, I have decided to use my skills for online tutoring this year.
A bachelor's degree in English Education and eight years of experience in Florida public schools, teaching students with a wide range of needs and abilities.
