Roya is a professional artist. She is famous for her drawing and panting. Her artworks have been exhibited in different galleries and museums in the United States and Mexico. She has also been awarded as one of the ten best female immigrant artists in the United States 2017. We presented a poster with the topic of "Sexuality in Artwork of Muslim Female Artists: an Exploratory Survey into Sexual Health" at the Cultural Competency Conference in El Paso. The study was showing that the culture-bound nature of sexuality limits the sexual expression on Muslim females. Sexuality is a key component of a women’s physical and psychological health.
Many of her paintings are about historical architectures are my favorites.
