About Christine
After college I taught summer school drawing classes at Valley Preparatory School in Redlands for a couple of years.
I taught acrylic painting classes for kids at the Redlands Community Center. I've also taught at painting parties for private events.
I've been drawing since I was little and started my art training as a teenager. I graduated from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles and majored in Fine Arts. I've been painting commissioned murals and other art for 18 years.

I find out what medium (drawing or painting) the student is interested in learning and what subject they would like to illustrate. We start with basic exercises/techniques with the chosen medium, based on the student's level of experience.
I prefer drawing and painting from life, for example a still life or model, but I also use pictures as reference.
I've worked with elementary school aged to adult students.
