I met Lyndi in Ms. Hunter’s 1st grade class in Edison school. She was definitely born to be an artist, I remember sitting next to her and we were drawing clouds, mine were your typical scribble scrabble type of clouds that were obviously made from a 1st grader who hadn’t yet mastered her fine motor skills. However I distinctly remember how Lyndi drew her clouds, they were these perfect dreamy, billowy clouds that were really absorbing. I remember telling her, I love how you make your clouds can you teach me? She began trying to teach me and I couldn’t get it. Furthermore, Lyndi has had a great passion and talent for art since she was a child, she’s done great work and I’m sure she will continue to do great work throughout her life. P.S. I wonder if she remembers that story?
