About Amy
Local artist who wants to share her passion for art. I am in school for a BFA and have been taking formal classes for a few years, after a lifetime of painting and other art.
There is nothing I have found more thrilling and fulfilling than helping people find their artistic potential!
A friend wanted to know how I learned to paint, so I started showing her what I knew. I eventually decided to go to school to teach painting, because I loved it so much!
I have painted most of my life, and have had a few years of formal lessons, and I am in school to get my degree for Art Education

I love to dive right in and get painting while we get to know each other.
I have worked with students from age six to eighty, and enjoyed them all, from beginner to hobbyist painter, to experienced artists looking for a new medium.

I recently got to start teaching a group of women at the Cagle Mountain Community Center, we have such a blast!
