About Mab

I have always been a teacher but as a food instructor I've started professionally as a private instructor since 2014 and recently with League of Kitchen
I am an experimental chef and know a lot about secrets of cooking from my family.
My other related skill is training and teaching. Long term experience about medicinal food and healthy food.

Pre class: Asking for detail information, emailing menu and recipes in advance.
Class: in the beginning, a small snack with introduction, teaching about preparation for cooking, cooking together and eating together. Students should bring container for taking leftovers.
I take care of shopping, washing and preparing ingredients and cooking a snack. During our class we will have cultural music, storytelling and lots of fun.
From beginner to professional, mostly New York visitors from around the world.
The last one was a very happy married couple from Melbourn, Australia who were in their honeymoon and they took this class during their honeymoon.

To learn how to cook Persian food with Mab is a real treat! Not only did we make a delicious meal of vegetarian stew with yummy rice with tahdig (crispy bottom of rice) that I’m still dreaming about but we got to learn about Iran and it’s culture. So fascinating! She is a delight and has a winning smile and personality. You can’t go wrong with Mab Persian Cuisine.
