About Vonnie
I have had a catering business on and off over the past 20 years. I have also been a personal chef to clients for regular as well as special dietary needs. I currently make monthly Birthday cakes and desserts for a professional company. I am currently making gluten free and vegan desserts for people who never thought they could have decadent desserts.
Cooking and baking is my passion. I am truly in my element when baking and making meals for people. It's the best way I know to give back to others. I love to hear my clients say they love what I have baked for them and they want the recipe or want me to show them how to make it exactly . To help people develop their interest in cooking and baking is what I was always meant to do!
I come from an extensive cooking family and learned at an early age from both my mother and grandmother. I always enjoyed cooking and have taken many many cooking classes over the years both in college and in foreign countires.

First and foremost call the student to find out exactly what they are looking for in lessons. I get specifics and find out there cooking or baking background and what their expectations are. I give examples of what I can teach them. I like to give them choices in what they get depending on what they want so we are on the same page. We go over my costs and when we are in agreement we schedule the lesson either at my home or theirs.
