Our son took online classes here while homeschooling. He is now a senior and is concurred enrolled at a community college. He was able to test out of the first programming class and receive college credit for it and is now starting the next class. My son found a community of friends with similar interests here. He learned and incredible amount about coding and engineering. He also did graphic arts classes. All the classes are in a warm family type environment that encourages communication and sharing. I strongly recommend this experience .

Our first-generation students truly loved learning through the Silicon STEM Academy workshops. The staff were incredibly attentive to the students and taught them coding in ways that really connected to the students learning styles. Great work!

I took my grandson to visit STEM Academy and was so impressed with their friendliness and interest in teaching us about their work. We were immediately given some tools to work with to expense their "hands-on" approach to learning. This is a fabulous community asset everyone should take advantage of.

My daughter has been attending classes here for about a year. The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. Most classes are available online so the few times she’s been sick she’s been able to follow along from home. It’s a great place to let your STEM minded kiddo explore new topics!

In the face of Covid, our summer looked bleak indeed. But, we kept our SSA camp on the calendar because they promised they were outstanding at on-line camps. They proved absolutely true to their word! My kids had one of the best weeks of camp EVER, all from the comfort of our home! They escaped to the world of Minecraft where they built special armor, tools, and blocks and let their creativity soared and confidence build. The facilitators were knowledgable, incredibly patient, dynamic and over all wonderful! Once we got everything set up on the first day, I didn't hear a peep from my kids except laughter, gasps of excitement, and lots of requests for me to come see that they were making. They required ZERO technical help from me because their facilitators were so great! We would HIGHLY recommend Silicon STEM Academy. I wish they could manage school this coming year!

We can't say enough about Silicon STEM Academy! We love it!

(1) Customer-Focused: John and Kelly are the founders and they are truly the nicest business owners you will ever meet! They know everyone’s name and when you’re new, they go out of their way to introduce themselves and get to know your child. As soon as our child walked in the doors, it was like home away from home. John and Kelly started the enrichment after-school program (they also have camps) because they were inspired by their own son when he was growing up. He was really into tech/innovation and less into sports, and there wasn’t anything out in the market for kids like him. Everyone there is super passionate about their programs, and you can tell they really enjoy their jobs.

(2) Kid-Friendly: Besides the founders and staff who are wonderful with the kids of all ages, their facility is set up with different fun innovation/work spaces for students. They also offer a wide variety of classes from coding, to battle bots, to stop motion animation, etc. Every other Friday they also offer a 3-hour drop off window where parents leave their kids there to do all sorts of fun activities while the parents get adult time.

(3) Parent-Friendly: John and Kelly are great about getting feedback from parents. They are always open to questions and super patient when explaining things to the parents. They have open houses where the entire family is invited to do projects in their space. For example, last holiday they had LED Holiday Card making which was super fun.

IF you have curious, active, intelligent child who has a passion to learn more, this is the place. The owners are hands on, supportive, patient, committed to make the learning environment work for ALL kiddos. It is hard to fail and success is almost guaranteed in terms of learning to code, learning to understand computers better, sharpening kiddos skills & confidence in a fun, supportive atmosphere. The programs are designed for all ages and the participants can go as fast or as slow as they need to. Assistance is there for anyone who needs it, little pushes are given to teach kiddos they can do it themselves, they can go onto the next step. It is no surprise many who participate, come back to teach. Their programs are infectious. I highly recommend SSA.

This place is truly MAGICAL. Kids are engaged and learning from the moment they walk-in the door until they walk out the door. The owners are extremely bright, personable, warm and caring. The staff is inventive, professional, kind and thoughful. Silicon STEM is a "no-brainer" :)

This is not a gimmicky franchise place (we've tried that), this is a real educational services company with expert instructors focused on teach real computer programming, game design, electronics and digital media. 5 STARS.

My son can't get enough of the STEM camps at Silicon STEM Academy! I can always tell when something captures his imagination when it's all he can talk about. The instructors are excellent—so patient and knowledgeable, so he always learns a great deal. We've tried many other camps, but these are his hands-down favorites! We highly recommend them!
