I reach out to Coach Gil just a few weeks ago. My son is 14 years old and plays travel baseball. He is a great player but found himself in the middle of some kind of weird moment where no matter how hard he would try he couldn’t hit. I was looking not only for someone who can help him with hitting but also with the mental aspect of this sport. It took literally two lessons for my son to gain his confidence back, clear his mind and start hitting again. The way Coach Gil talks to young people about sportsmanship, confidence, leadership and his incredible knowledge of baseball can only get your player to success! Coach Vega has been an amazing coach for my twin 7-year-olds since early spring while preparing them for the upcoming baseball season. He truly understands the limitations and attention span of kids this age and never frustrates them by pushing skills they’re not ready for yet. Instead, he keeps practices fun, changes things up often, and jokes around with the kids to keep them engaged and excited to learn.

My kids absolutely love going to training with him and always leave smiling. At the same time, their hitting and catching skills have improved significantly in just a short amount of time. I’m the head coach for a 14u team. We have had these boys together since 8u. Once we started our winter training this season we knew we where going to need some help. I interviewed a few coaches and came across Gil. What a great job he did with our boys. He took his time and not only worked with each player but built a personal relationship with each one. I could not recommend Gil more. His love and knowledge for the game is infectious.

He was great at giving each of my girls what they needed and at what level they were at on the field. They both learned a ton and have developed great batting, fielding and pitching skills. My girls feel much more confident on the field

We've been working with Coach Gill for a fairly short amount of time, but I have seen improvements in all aspects of my sons game. Three lessons in and my son crushed a ball to left center off of one of the best pitchers in his league. Would absolutely recommend working with Coach Gil.

The individual attention. The lessons have been one on one and this has really allowed our son to develop the skills without other distractions. Coach Gil works through the progressions, building on all the basic skills before moving on.

Gil uses a mix of previous drills and new drills at each lesson. It seems to really individualize each lesson to what our son needs to work on. He also makes it fun. Simple drills and to the point. We are not there for a total retooling. He listened to what a kid told him what he wanted to get from it and designed the session for that. Didn’t make more of it. Didn’t make less of it. Kept it to the point and straight forward. Very good.

We have had a great experience with Mr Vega, he is very friendly and explains his drills and why they necessary. I feel that with Vega Baseball we are getting a well rounded baseball training; Mr Vega has worked on mainly hitting, but has also worked on fielding and even catcher drills.
