About Louis
I make sure to develop personalized training sessions based on each players strengths and weaknesses. Lessons will consist of ELITE level training, hands on, 1 on 1 work with a former professional baseball player.
About myself:
-Played Professional Baseball in the American Association from 2017-2018 (Two seasons)
- Played Division 1 baseball at NYiT from 2013-2017
-Awards: Rawlings NCAA Division 1 All Region Team Selection
-Career batting numbers (.305 Batting Average, 20 home-runs, 35 doubles, 100 RBIs, 560 at bats).
- Over 15 years of playing experience and 5 years of coaching experience.
-Burroughs High School JV Head Coach Coach located in Burbank,CA.
-Master Baseball Instructor at Mele Made Baseball.

I avoid "cookie cutter" programs and strive to give each player personalized instruction. For example, some players may need to work on good balance throughout the swing, while others may need drills to stay through the ball longer. Other players may want to focus more on fielding or pitching, so I always make sure to build lessons around the needs of the players and parents.
What to expect on the first lesson is a basic overview, which allows me to get to know the player better. I do this so as the weeks progress, I can develop him or her a specialized program!
Ages 7 to 18 years old.
I have worked with a wide variety of players. Inluding Little Leauge,High School Players, College Players and Pro Players.
Passion for the game of baseball has no age limits!

Perfect! Coach Louis is the best we've worked with. He clearly knows the game of baseball very well -- he has excellent drills and advice for all facets of the game (hitting, fielding, pitching, mental). He is great with kids, speaking with them in a conversational way and giving great suggestions.
His training sessions are superb. They work for the full hour, going over different drills and having fun while doing it.
Coach Louis has a great demeanor and is quite natural as a coach. I would recommend him to anyone looking for baseball coaching for kids.Perfect! After trying with a few coaches in LA, Coach Mele is the best private coach we hired! He’s professional and patient. My six-year old son absolutely loved him! He made my son be able to enjoy baseball. Ever since he started teaching my son, my son has made incredible improvement. We sometimes see other students before or after my son’s lessons with Coach Mele - their parents all seemed very happy with the outcome of their lessons with Coach Mele. I really appreciate this coach. I would highly recommend him!

Perfect! Coach Louis has been an excellent private trainer for my 9 year old son! He’s taught my son skills and strategies that have improved his hitting and pitching. Coach Louis is really flexible with scheduling and will work on any skill that we ask him to focus on. He is also a fun coach while still correcting and keeping my son focused on the lesson. Perfect! I have a 7 year old who knows nothing about baseball. Louis is giving the 7 year old a good foundation focusing on hitting, throwing and catching. Furthermore he demonstrates lots of patience.

Louis is so great, in just first lesson with my son was an amazing improvement, my son is 7 years old, our baseball couch and many other people was very impressed how fast my son gets to one of the better hitters in the theam, other kids parents asked Louis information to hire him as well ! Next Level Baseball is a great program. Louis Mele is a coach who always portrays a positive attitude, he connects well with kids and has great teaching skills. My son has been trained by Coach Mele, I have and will continue to recommend him to others.We have been training with Louis for just over a year. When we came to him, we were looking to help our 8 year old son with his hitting. Coach has been a great asset for our son and we have seen tremendous improvements.
Coach Mele has been extremely helpful with my son especially on his defense. Coach works one on one and really breaks down the fundamentals of the game. My son is a Sophomore in High School and coach has helped him obtain a spot on his Varsity Baseball Team. Love working with him.
Louis Mele lived in my home while he was an infielder for the Washington Wild Things (Frontier League team in Washington, PA). I observed firsthand his skill on the field, his knowledge of the sport (during dinner conversations), his positive attitude at all times, and his great heart as human being. I’d happily send any boy or girl to Louis and Next Level Baseball to improve his/her game.
Louis Mele is such a great coach. He has helped my son tremendously with his hitting and mental approach to the game. I am so happy that we were able to get lessons with him before he moved to California. You would be lucky to learn the game from this guy!
Next Level works on the physical and mental part of hitting. Coach Mele has a ton of experience that he shared with me. We worked on drills to prep the swing before going into front toss and live BP. Drills he teaches allows hitters to hit with their full potential and makes hitters focus on the vital parts of the swing so they can incorporate it into their game swings.
