About James
I am an experienced Mathematics Tutor with well over 100 hours in face-to-face tutoring. I completed my HSC in 2023 and I’m excited to pass on my skills and experience to future students.
Over my years at high school I took on a diverse range of tutoring and mentoring roles, from teaching Tae Kwan Do to coaching volleyball teams and our student representative council. From these experiences, I learnt that no student is the same as another and that a set procedure of formula for tutoring does not work. That’s why I don’t give my students the same lessons as each other but work with each individually to best inspire and educate them.
Over the past year I've spent over 100+ hours with my students enabling academic and personal growth across their subjects and teaching them crucial skills for individual learning. My philosophy is to boost the confidence and academic prowess of my students so that they have the confidence to achieve their goals on their own.

I provide 1-on-1 lessons both face-to-face and online in High School mathematics. With over 100+ hours of tutoring under my belt, my proven philosophy with tutoring is to boost my students' confidence by advancing their specific and broad academic skills so that they ace each and every test.
I provide extensive out-of-lesson support so students and parents can receive the help they need efficiently.
Weekly lessons usually last between 1 and 2 hours but students may request further help during assessment periods.
