About Manuel
Students in my courses will learn the basics of movement. Proper posture. Voice and diction. In depth group and one-on-one acting exercises to help them get out of their shell and breakthrough.
I attended Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and got a degree in acting and directing in 2015. Since then, I’ve acted with a variety of community and professional theatres for the last two years and recently relocated here to Washington D.C. I love working with people and indulge in pushing people outside their comfort zones and making them thrive.
I’m clasicaly trained. Have taken voice and diction courses as well as studied Shakespeare and history of theatre abroad in England. I’m trained in both armed and unarmed stage combat and movement.

I like to give students a chance to Express what they want to get out of an acting class. As an actor myself, I like to study character and understand what people’s strenghts and weaknesses are. I like to test my students and allow them the chance to take risks and learn from their experiences.
