About John
Both as a coach and a tutor, I love to see that moment when all of the pieces of a problem finally click in a student's head. I am currently a JD/MBA student with Undergraduate Degrees in Mathematics and Economics and have tutored math classes from Pre-Algebra all the way up to Upper Calculus.
In high school, I was a National Merit Scholar with a 34 ACT, 1540 SAT, and 234 PSAT.
I believe that my unique experiences in everything from drama, to robotics, to coaching high school football enable me to connect with a wide variety of students and explain things in a way that makes sense to them as an individual. The end goal is more than just a grade, it's the confidence that a student can attack future challenges.
I did some tutoring while in undergrad, but ramped it up after graduation while coaching high school football. I realized that many of our players needed assistance in the classroom, and I knew I could be of service in that regard.
Undergraduate degree in Mathematics with minors in related studies.
Previous experience as ACT/SAT prep tutor with scores in 99th percentile on both exams
