About Tyler
Hi! My name is Tyler Cain, I’m a high school senior who has been tutoring for a month. I self-studied with no outside help to gain a 1520 on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT. I understand how to improve my and others scores by mastering language arts as well as mathematics. Standardized testing is very important for college applications, and I’m here to make sure you or your child have the best chance! Other tutoring services can be upwards of $700, but I am a private one on one tutor who charges $20 per session. If you are looking for an affordable, private tutor, I’m here to help your child get their best possible scores!

I believe it’s important to allow a student to ask questions and gain a good relationship with the tutor! Once acquainted, I ask the student what their typical strategy is; where do they have problems; what’s their strongest subjects? I then give tips and tweak their method, allowing them to do a warmup of 10 questions. After that, I analyze their decisions and ask why they made certain decisions. I give coursework of ACTUAL PAST tests, and work alongside them to make sure they understand why answers are correct. I always give formula sheets and grammar rules, and write down what I want them to focus on.
