About Ben

Hi, my name is Ben, and my work is my passion. I am honored to be ranked in the top 2% of over 17,500 tutors on another tutoring platform and am excited to be expanding my offerings to this website.

I have been a full-time College Admissions Counseling and Test Prep professional for the past 4 years and have several additional years of writing, editing, and tutoring experience. I do everything in my power to help others succeed. I scored in the 99th percentile on the ACT & the 95th percentile on the SAT. I am a National Merit Scholar. I received academic full-ride offers from 5 universities and accepted scholarships totaling over $104,000 (in 2003). I’ve spent years teaching English in an ESL classroom and SAT/ACT test prep at a major company. I’ve been certified as an SAT essay rater.

In the next few lines I'm going to share exactly how I've helped my clients develop predictable systems to save time in finding and getting admitted to the right college with 100% certainty (and how you can do the same).

Most families are obsessed with the idea of a good school, but they completely ignore how exactly this translates into a successful future. Most students are frenzied over campus visits, letters/messages from schools, and the next best test prep option or scholarship widget, but they ignore what’s most important. It comes down to this: if you and your child aren’t 100% sure in their college application process, then they haven’t found the pathway to their successful future.

The most important thing is to figure out your child's future career and the right college to get them there. Successful students have a predictable system for finding, getting into, and paying for the right school, and they do this with 100% certainty. This requires two key metrics: identifying top companies and qualifying for the schools they hire from. We begin by identifying your child's mix of interests, experiences, and abilities and matching these with the right career fields. Next, we identify the companies that foster an environment in which your child will thrive. Then we figure out which colleges will get your child in the door and begin building a relationship with the companies before your child even graduates from high school.

The result of executing this correctly is that your child will find the school of their dreams, crush the admissions process, and set themselves up for a wildly successful future. And the best part? You will know with 100% certainty that their selected college is the right choice, and your child will finally have the pathway that they can follow fearlessly to success.

Right now I'm looking for a few more of my "dream clients," families that I can help to get these massive results. That's why I for a limited time I'd like to work with you in an admissions strategy session if you meet the criteria below. I work with primarily three types of clients: those who want a pathway and don't penny-pinch or delay decision, those looking for admissions to top-tier schools, and those who want to reduce or eliminate student debt.

Here's how the process works: we will focus on a custom-tailored strategy session to help you solve the two biggest problems that most students face (identifying your child's prospective career and making sure you have the right system for finding the right school to get them there with 100% certainty). This strategy session will take around 30 minutes. I'll help identify where you're at and develop a strategy for your child (while saving time and money in the process).

This is for parents of current high school students looking to save time, find the right college, pay for it without a second mortgage, and set their child up for a successful future. It’s for parents who know that their child is good at what they do and believe that they can dominate the admissions process and earn scholarships and even a full ride. This is for parents who truly love helping their kids and value ethical results above all else and parents who understand that they need to have some "skin in the game."

This is not for students lacking drive to get into college, people who make excuses and complain, people stuck in information-gathering mode who are not prepared to take action and get results, or parents not serious about their child getting into the right college for them.

Now, knowing that we are a good fit is crucial because I like to get all of my clients results and work with them for the long-term. The truth is that there are some people who I cannot help, and if that's the case, I will be 100% upfront with you and suggest an alternative. I'm only looking for those who are a good fit and who I am certain I can get results for. The first step is to send me a message requesting a private strategy session, so we can determine that I'm the best person to help you generate these results and that you and your child are ready to step up, commit, and do the work required.

Once I receive your request, we will schedule a time to conduct your strategy session, and this is where we will really start working together to figure out what you want and how to make it happen in the fastest time possible with predictability. And at the end of the call one of two things will happen: you'll either be a fit, and I will extend an invitation to work with me as one of my clients, or if it's not a good fit, that's totally okay too and there are no hard feelings or obligations or anything. Either way, you will receive an insanely valuable strategy session and will walk away with newfound clarity as to where you are right now, what's holding you back from achieving the results you want, and the exact next steps necessary to take action and break through your barriers. It will likely be the most valuable 30 minutes you invest in your child's admissions process this year. So, go ahead and message me your request now, and we will see if we're a good fit for working together.

I enjoy doing something high impact that has the potential to change the trajectory of someone's life.

I scored in the 99th percentile on the ACT and the 95th percentile on the SAT. I have been a college admissions counseling and test prep professional for over 4 years.
