About Avanyish
As someone who has gone through the process of taking standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT Subject tests, and ACT. I have experience as both a tutor and test taker which allows me to understand the challenges of test prep and empathize with students and develop a more in depth plan for success. As a graduate with a degree in biochemistry I have a wide variety of biology and chemistry experience through classroom and lab settings. I know utilize much biochemistry knowledge daily at MIT in the genomics core. Additionally, I have been tutoring in subjects such as AP Chemistry and AP Biology and ACT/SAT with much success for more than a year.
I love working with students to improve their test scores and knowledge of biology and chemistry. I try to make the learning process fun and engaging by keeping it light hearted and a stimulating learning environment. I understand that mental fatigue can happen especially when studying, but by being cognizant of this I can adapt to the student's needs.
