Anyone can teach accounting. What you need to know is real world issues and resolutions and the logic or illogic behind all transactions. Business is art and is not stressful like many may seem. Confidence, logic, knowledge. After all accounting has been the same since cavemen traded rocks and... it will never change.

I've always taught. Since I was a child. I have this gift of being able to read approximately 800 words per minute and I had a family who invested their time to teach me things instead of sitting me in front of a television. I understand how believing in yourself can help you retain knowledge, understand that knowledge better and don't you deserve that? My reward has always been the inevitable smile that perks on people's faces and a phrase which goes something like' "Wow...I did it! Look at me go!" ( I'm a little different LOL you can't take the money when you go but you can take the memories of all the smiles in your life...that's a fact)
Over 100,000,000.00 in resolution for several companies and several customers who are all very happy. I have over 300 co-workers who have been taught accounting and programs such as macros. Knowledge truly is power to live one's life more easily, be happy and be successful.

Conversation. I like to know the hopes and dreams of those whose lives I'm stepping into and their comfort zones; I share with them the experience that I have and what's made my career successful (and exciting) because it gives a more true insight on actual business which is what accounting is all about. The complete business.
I've worked from the janitor to CEOs. Every individual in every company is very important. There shouldn't be anyone in your life that says they have nothing to learn. While everyone else runs from management, I help management understand what we do so they can help me help them help me and I teach people how to do that as well.
Ask them for honest success stories in their own careers. Look into people's eyes when you speak to them. Keep your accounting books with you for the rest of your life as reference for yourself and others in your office. Have a good attitude, always approach your customers that owe you late funds as if it was your company's error. This is just a PR move but you wouldn't believe the respect your customers feel when they know that you're truly trying to resolve something whether it's your company's fault or theirs. Put your internal and external customers shoes on and dance in them for a while. Accounting will never change. Ever.
Recent event I am fond of? I was hired to collect 4.9 million dollars that the company had written off for years previously. They estimated it would take me three years to collect.
It took me 10 minutes. I realized I had worked myself out of a job quickly soI went online and taught myself electronic data interchange. Then I went to the I. T. Department and asked that they incorporate that task into my current position. This gave me a new title, I wrote processes, keystroke by keystrokes. I had the money in the bank in 28 days, and the customers were happy! K.I.S.S. ( and then I procedure to teach a sister company, three locations, how to instead of calling me once a month and spending two or three hours on the phone, bill's our own shipments with one click. PeopleSoft.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Everything. What they want to do in life. What they've done in life. How what they want to do in life is affected by other positions in life. I'm talking about accounting, specifically. Accounting touches every single person in a business. It's all money. So perhaps the most important thing a student should ask themselves is, "Am I quite prepared to pay attention for the rest of my life and enjoy it?" (Obviously for me the answer was yes!)

I've never charged anyone. When I took classes for this I was done with the entire course in a week. I only took the course so I would be able to remember the verbage for manual books because I set up 7 companies for manual books to computerized. I will work with you on payment. Contact me and we can discuss it or email and we can email about it. My intention is not to make great funding here but to invest in the future earth.
