About Ellie
I’ve been working in theatre for over 10 years, and have directed shows at several theatre’s including the National Theatre, Shakespeare North Playhouse and Storyhouse in Chester. Working with actors in rehearsals is the best part of my job, and I love helping them do their best work! I have also taught Acting for Beginners, Intermediate and Experienced Acting at Merseyside Academy of Drama. I have taught youth theatre for 10-25 year olds for several years with all different abilities and experience, and have also helped people with auditions, recalls and self tapes.

My approach is always very collaborative and personalised. After working in this industry for many years, I have a vast understanding of the different tailored approaches needed to tap into an individuals way of processing and understanding the fundamentals of acting, and can offer tools and exercises that I use and have used in rehearsals with actors.
